Characters: Beryl Possum, Bob Echidna, Ed Wombat, Karen Krittle, Mavis Kangaroo, Neville the Tasmanian Devil, Wally Krittle
Location: Wally & Karen's House
Wildlife needs to be cared for & it looks like Wally’s the man to do it.
Ed’s plan was a complete success & Wally suspects nothing.
The Smith’s got the blame for the phone call to the Parks & Wildlife Department.
Mavis, Beryl & Bob have a new home with all the perks & lurks of domestication & everyone is happy.
Don’t ya just love it when things just work out???
I love the nose on that hedgehog
I wasn’t sure of the difference so I Googled before replying. Bob is an Echidna, also known as a Spiny Ant Eater, they have the long snout so they can stick it in holes & a long tongue to get the ants. Their mouth is on the underside of their long snout & is quite small. They are also a monotrene which is a marsupial that lays eggs rather than giving birth to live young. Platypuses are the same. I looked at a Hedgehog photo & their noses are completely different plus their mouth is quite separate from their nose.
now we could call Wally; Wildlife Wally.
Hey Jonno, Wildlife Wally sounds good.
I am going to activate the Facebook Login for people such as yourself who don't have blogs/websites but I just have to figure out how to get a FB API Key. FB has changed the process since the Intense Debate instructions were written.
dankie (German or Afrikaans for 'thank you') mate.
hope you and Michelle are doing okay. see ya in the blog space neighbourhood
We are both sick at the moment. I am home from work today. Feeling too lousy to go

Why do I have the feeling that there won't be any room for the humans at some point? I know, it's just how things happen over here. Bwahahahahahahaha.
Have a terrific day. My best to Dixie.
I've already thought of a few more animals that Waly could care for.

It's a jungle (outback) in there!
I hope there's no snakes or crocodiles hiding in that jungle
That was a wonderful conclusion to the "phone call." I laughed out loud. Ed *is* brilliant.
Let the fun begin!
Ed is the master planner
I have two words for you Livefyre… I guess that was only one word. I have used Livefyre at Japanese Ghost since I started it up. It actually wasn’t that great when I first started using it but then Livefyre 3 came out and it was a whole lot better.
I really think you should give it a shot. Also, I might get a spam comment like .0001% of the time.
How much did the permit cost? Was it in the budget? Will they be able to purchase groceries this month now?

If not Livefyre I would go with Disqus over Intense Debate

Or, how about just using those WordPress comments. My gravatar looks odd. I am either eating sour candy or chewing with one eye open.

Disqus gave me a few more options than Intense Debate but kept losing comments, on this post for example there were 13 comments at the time via WP comments but only 4 showed up on Disqus after syncing. Sometimes the number of comments on individual posts would vary too. Disqus also had no field for Guest Commenters to leave their Site URL as not everyone wants to sign up for an account. I can't see the problem but that's their choice I guess.
I tried Livefyre briefly but it came up with black text on my black site background so it couldn't be read. Intense Debate & Disqus were the same when I 1st installed them but there were options to change it. I couldn't find any such options on the livefyre dashboard settings or in their help section. I also found the text & background colours on the dashboard hard to read too.
For me I think that Intense Debate is probably my best choice. It has WP.com login as well which is a feature I like as many of my regular visitors use WP.com. I also like the easiness that people can comment as a Guest without having to log in. For the time being then Mel I will use Intense Debate unless it gives me grief. For some reason I like the "Improved" comment systems over the standard WP comments.
Good reasons for your choices. I was kind of confused about the Livefyre dashboard being difficult to read. For me it shows up as grey and white.
I wonder if there is an option for comments for black websites….
I do like the commentluv feature with ID.
My recent post Somebody Passed Gas! Wait, na it’s just Nazis…
With my bad eyes I found the grey text hard to read. The settings page for example is grey on light grey. I just went & had another search & couldn't find any setting to change background colour for your site. ID has a custom CSS page with help to show you what to put in it to make changes. Disqus has a Dark or light page setting but could find nothing on Livefyre

Had a few hiccups with ID too recently, the occasional comment would disappear. Decided to give it the flick & stick with the standard comments, easier for visitors to comment with. Easier for me to manage.
Now I know where to go when I’m sick
My recent post Snow Day
Wally will name you George, and he will hug you and pet you and squeeze you.
I can live with that as long as there's an adequate supply of chocolate and wine gums.
My recent post Snow Day
I will see what I can do Binky. Maybe I can get them in bulk quantities for a special price
I can give you my Chocolate Club card.
My recent post Snow Day
If Wally gets that card Binky I will be confiscating it for my own personal use…

Looks like two of them need a bath.
All that smells well will end well.

Oh yeah I see now. Those are motion indicators not odours
My recent post Stowaways #6 – Wildlife Permit
Sorry, my bad.
Now that all those animals are staying, he can start a new reality show called "Homes Gone WILD!"

But only if I get a share of the royalties from it Bill…
At least I know how to draw odours now xD

Testing Barry's new email address…
Yay it works
Saint Wally of Tasmania.

If you decide to go on holidays Mark I’ll care for Gorr & Zombie Bird while you’re away
Hahaha… well… if it's official…
Yep they can't take them away now. Wally cut through the red tape & emerged victorious from a government department. Not everyone can achieve that.
My recent post Mean Old Lady
It's an echidna! Not even close to a North American Hedgehog. I saw one once in Victoria. They have a really needly snout. You don't have any platypi Tony! I'm waiting for the Tassie Tiger to make an appearance in your comic!
My recent post Mean Bee-yotch
Platypus & Tassie Tiger are yet to come. Can't bring in too many newcomers at once or Barry & Cedric may get jealous & go on strike

Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together
Being the plan master I enjoy it all the more Mister Martin. Wombats are good at lateral thinking. I’m not really sure what that is but I’m good at it anyway
